Thea Gudim Breder
Thea Gudim Breder has performed such roles as Countess Lydia Ivanovna in Spuck’s Anna Karenina, Waltz of the Flowers in The Nutcracker, Summer Fairy in Stevenson’s Cinderella and several roles in Nureyev’s Don Quixote, Corder’s Romeo and Juliet and Giselle. She was a demi-soloist in Balanchine’s Theme and Variations and performed in his Serenade and Valse-Fantaisie, as well as Kylián’s One of a Kind, Falling Angels, Petite Mort and Sweet Dreams. Other performances include roles in MacMillan’s Manon, Scarlett's Carmen, Ekman’s A Swan Lake, Johannessen’s Desolating Persephone, Hough’s Epic Short, Boyadjiev’s Fair Enough, Øyen’s Timelapse and Strømgren’s Suite and Orpheus and Evrydike.
Thea Gudim Breder is from Oslo and a graduate of the Ballet School run by the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, as well as the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. She joined the Norwegian National Ballet as a trainee in the autumn of 2009 and was given a permanent contract with the company in the autumn of 2011.
