Ole Johannes Slåttebrekk
Ole Johannes Slåttebrekk joined the Norwegian National Ballet after two years with the Norwegian National Ballet 2, where he danced in Espejord’s A part together, Hayakawa’s Limerence and León and Lightfoot’s Susto. In 2021 he won the Grand Prix Award at the World Ballet Grand Prix Singapore, first prize in the contemporary and classical category at the International Dance Competition Hellas and third prize in the Tanz Olymp 2021.
He is a graduate of the Norwegian National Ballet School & Academy and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow and danced in The Nutcracker during the academy’s tour to Athens in 2019. He did soloist work during Marius Petipa’s 200th anniversary at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater in 2018, performing in a duet choreographed by Vladimir Sychev and rehearsing under the guidance of Ulyana Lopatkina.
Slåttebrekk (born in 2001) started his ballet teaching at the Norwegian National Ballet School in 2009.
