Gina Storm-Jensen
Gina Storm-Jensen joined the Norwegian National Ballet (NNB) in 2023, after ten years with The Royal Ballet in London. She is a permanent member with NNB from autumn 2024. In 2021 she was selected as Soloist in The Royal Ballet, the same year as she was awarded the Tom Wilhelmsen Opera and Ballet Prizehere in Norway.
With NNB Storm-Jensen has performed roles as Mrs Sørby in Moum Aune’s The Wild Duck. With The Royal Ballet she danced prominent roles as Myrtha in Coralli og Perrot’s Giselle, Godmother and Winter Fairy in Petipa’s Cinderella, Rose Fairy i Petipa’s The Nutcracker, and she was a soloist in Balanchine’s Jewels.
Norwegian Storm-Jensen has her education from the Ballet School at the Norwegian Opera & Ballet and The Royal Ballet School in London. During her studies, she won the Gold medal in the Grasse International Competition in 2009, and she was a finalist in the Prix de Lausanne in 2011. In 2019 she received the Wessel prize, which is awarded by Norske Selskab to younger deserving artists, and in 2021 she was nominated for the British National Dance Awards in the Emerging Artist category.
