Gabriel Gudim
Gabriel Gudim joined the Norwegian National Ballet after three years in the Norwegian National Ballet 2 (NNB2). During his time with NNB UNG, he has, among other things, danced Duato's Remanso and a pas de deux from Nurejev's Don Quixote.
He is a graduate of the San Francisco Ballet School, where he danced, among other things, the Russian dance in Helgi Tómasson’s The Nutcracker together with the San Francisco Ballet. Following a student performance in 2019, the Bay Area Reporter wrote: «Gabriel Gudim [who] did grandes pirouettes, sailing around with his leg 90 degrees to the side inscribing sharp circles, the working foot pointed like a talon. Rock-solid, and he was enjoying it like a kid on a skateboard.»
Gudim (born in 2002) is originally from Arendal and began studying at the Norwegian National Ballet School at the age of eight. He participated in the Prix de Lausanne in 2018 and came in third in the Nordic Baltic Ballet Competition in Falun in 2018.
