Carolina Rodriguez
Carolina Rodriguez Perez joined the Norwegian National Ballet II in the autumn of 2024, after dancing with the Cuban National Ballet in Havana. There, she performed roles in Petipa’s Don Quixote and The Nutcracker, as well as Perrot and Coralli’s Giselle. During her time with the Cuban National Ballet, she also performed on various stages in Spain, Portugal, and Italy.
Cuban-born Rodriguez (b. 2004) began dancing ballet at the age of three, and at nine years old, she was enrolled in the ballet school affiliated with the Cuban National Ballet.
Recently, Rodriguez participated in the gala final of the Maria Antonietta Berlusconi (MAB) ballet competition, where she danced the variation of the Queen of the Dryads from Petipa’s Don Quixote and the Gamzatti variation from Petipa’s La Bayadère.
